Electrostatic powder coating

Coating the metal parts with polyester or epoxypolyester based powder paint which provides good corrosion prevention and appropriate appearance for the surface-treated parts

Equipment: continuous operating mode

Operating dimensions:

width = 700 mm

height = 1600 mm

The equipment is controlled by a SIEMENS S7-200 PLC control system. The powder spraying technological machines are WAGNER and GEMA models.

 

Pre-treatment:

Coating the metal parts with a micro zinc-phosphate layer (layer weight: 1.5 – 2.5 g/m²) with chemicals distributed by HENKEL. We use a computer controlled eight zone, spraying pre-treatment line.

When the parts need stronger prevention from corrosion we apply a powder sprayed coat onto the zinc-phosphate pre-treated KTL base.
